The following diagram illustrates the simplified working principle of a metal
detector using a conveyor belt application as an example. Although the form
of the metal detector sensor may differ from the diagram, its working principle
remains the same.

The metal detector generates an electromagnetic field.
When metal impurities enter the electromagnetic field, the measurement signal
will deflect in one direction.
When metal impurities leave the electromagnetic field, the measurement signal
will deflect in another direction.
When both triggering limits of the measurement signal exceed the set value, the
controller will generate an alarm signal.
The metal detector will output multiple signals for users to use according to their
requirements. Generally, a set of passive normally open and normally closed
